Netmarble Posts $1.8 Billion Sales In 2019 Fiscal Year


Why make millions when we can make…billions?

Netmarble has posted their fourth quarter/annual sales figures for 2019. Fourth quarter sales generated $473.3 million in revenue and $43.1 million in operating profit between October and December. Throughout the year sales amounted to $1.8 billion, $173 million in operating profit, and $136 million in net profit.

Big revenue machines include MARVEL Contest of Champions (Kabam) (17% of revenue generated), Lineage 2: Revolution (13% of revenue generated), Cookie Jam (Jam City) (5% of revenue generated), THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR (5% of revenue generated), MARVEL Future Fight (4% of revenue generated), and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery (Jam City) (4% of revenue generated).

Global shares for Q4 put North America at the top (30%) with Europe trailing (11%) and the rest of the world including Korea making up the other 59%.

Netmarble’s Q4 marks a 32% increase in operating profit year over year, while sales for the whole year increased by 7.6% with net profits falling 26%.
