NM: Voice Actor Payment Dispute Drives Dev Off Social Media

Joshua White nukes social media presence after call out.

Today’s potential dirty dev article comes to us from game voice actress Bonnie Bogovich who took to Twitter to call out Joshua White of Wizdog Games over unpaid invoices. It seems that Bogovich was hired to provide voice work for the game Kat + Bunn and had not been paid.

Bogovich goes on to post screenshots of a conversation with White where he responds “bro I literally don’t care” and calls her a “contrived bitch” in addition to other unprofessional conduct. Transcripts from Discord discussions, where White has allegedly blocked Bogovich, has apparently been kept as well.

Since the posting, Joshua White has deleted all social media including Twitter, Kickstarter, Youtube, and perhaps others. Neither Joshua White or Wizdog Games have available contact information for us to reach for comment.

  1. Working with some devs can be risky. I always push for advance payment or at least a substantial deposit, because I’ve seen similar situations with other voice actors. The truth is, it’s our responsibility to make sure we never leave ourselves completely vulnerable.
