CCP Games has announced the second Quadrant of 2020 coming to everyone’s favorite space case MMO Eve Online. Dubbed Eclipse, Quadrant 2 aims to shift the balance of power within Eve’s universe New Eden.
“After a packed and successful Quadrant 1 with Fight or Flight, we are pushing the envelope even further for Quadrant 2 with Eclipse,” said Bergur Finnbogason, EVE Online’s Creative Director. “We’re committed to making exciting changes to New Eden going forward, with events, updates and plenty of surprises that will touch all corners of New Eden!”
Eclipse will offer a ton of new rewards and challenges including live events, celebrations, login campaigns, graphical updates, balance changes, new ships, weapons, as well as the final chapter of the Invasion expansion.
Players can also look forward to the return of The Hunt on April 6. The limited event tasks players with hunting down and scanning capsules to gain access to special event sites containing rewards and materials. The event focuses on smaller ship classes affording rewards to players with less experience and fewer skills.
