RuneScape: 125 Players Hit 99 Archaeology In Week One

Who is in first place? Le me (not me).

RuneScape’s twenty eighth skill Archaeology has been out officially for one week, and already the skill has seen no less than 125 players achieve the first step toward skill mastery. Over the course of the past seven days, these players achieved over thirteen million experience by excavating dig sites, restoring relics, and uncovering mysteries.

The first player to hit level 99 is ‘Le Me,’ that same player still leading the pack in terms of experience gain with 28 million experience as of this publishing (equating to level 107 or double the experience needed to hit level 99). The fight for true skill mastery is going to be long and hard, as many skills in RuneScape still only have a few dozen Ironmen players worldwide who achieved this feat.

True skill mastery is at level 120 and requires 104 million experience in the skill.
