Fortnite’s Next Season Is Marvel Themed


That is themed after Marvel.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 will be Marvel themed, as one of the worst kept secrets of 2020. There’s been a lot of rumors and leaks leading people to believe that the next season of Fortnite launching August 27 would be Marvel themed, but today’s post on the official Fortnite Twitter confirms it.

Fortnite is no stranger to brand promotions as Marvel and DC have jockeyed for position over the last couple of years. Deadpool was a big part of the prior season’s spy-based content while the current and soon to end season saw the map flooded with an emphasis on Aquaman and aquatic themes. Many will recall Travis Scott’s recent concert event, and the pivotal reveal that the Emperor would be in Rise of the Skywalker was done through a Fortnite event.

The most recent brand promotion is a crossover between Fortnite and Marvel again, offering Hulk fists to anyone who meets certain conditions in the Marvel Avengers beta.

It’ll be interesting to see how deep Fortnite goes down the rabbit hole with the Marvel theme this season. While prior seasons had events or obtainable skins, they’ve never been directly themed after a brand promo.
