Confirming the worst kept rumor.
These days if you want to know how much next generation hardware is going to cost, you’re going to need to go to a more reputable source than say Microsoft. If you’re thinking Pringles, well you’ve got the right idea. Fortunately Microsoft can occasionally be trusted for rumors down the grapevine of hardware specs and pricing information.
Today Microsoft announced via Twitter that the Xbox Series S, the worst kept secret of this next generation, will be the “smallest Xbox ever” and debut for $299. When? Where? That’s a little too much information for today. More information is on its way.
The Xbox Series S has shown up numerous times in the past as a more affordable entry point for those who don’t find high resolution gaming as important.
