PSA: xCloud Streaming Now On Game Pass

For Android and not iOS users.

If you’ve wanted to play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel while sitting on the toilet on your phone, you can do just that starting today. Microsoft has officially released Project xCloud streaming for Game Pass members on Android phones and tablets allowing players to play their favorite Game Pass library games over the internet and from the comfort of their own toilets, beds, bath tubs, and backyard hammocks.

You will need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription which runs $14.99 monthly and also includes Xbox Live Gold, PC/Xbox Game Pass, and later this year will also include EA Play and its library of titles. There will eventually be a Windows xCloud app so you can stream games to your less-than-gaming PC, or just play games without having to download and install them first.

There is currently no expectation of xCloud on iOS due to Apple’s repeated rejection of the app.
