Expect it to come back up later this afternoon.
World of Warcraft is officially offline. For its Shadowlands pre-patch patch of course!
Blizzard is gearing up for the launch of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and that of course means that the pre-expansion pre-launch pre-patch is pre-here and you can pre-load it to pre-install before it pre-launches later to…pre-day.
Players can look forward to the Death Rising limited time event as well as the level squish. Due to Shadowlands not being available the player cap will be 50 meaning people will actually be at a lower level than they were during vanilla WoW. Character customization overhaul is also coming along with appearance change services being removed from the shop and made free.
The new starting experience at Exile’s Reach will be available as well as the Timewalking campaigns for those who have experienced Battle For Azeroth and reached level 50 on at least one character. You’ll also be able to unlock allied races without reaching exalted in their faction.
There’s a ton of updates going live today as part of the pre-patch. Check them out at the link below.
