Rockstar Games has announced today that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 will be playable via backward compatibility on their respective newer console generations. The list of titles also includes the most recent versions of L.A. Noire as well as the PSVR version of The VR Case Files and all previously backward compatible Rockstar Games titles on the Xbox One and all Rockstar PS2 games available on PS4 from the store.

- Grand Theft Auto IV
- Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Midnight Club: Los Angeles
- Red Dead Redemption
- Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis
PlayStation 2 titles:
- Bully
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Manhunt
- Max Payne
- Red Dead Revolver
- The Warriors
