The Dawning is back in Destiny 2 and that means two things; baking cookies and delivering those cookies to people who like to eat cookies. Between now and January 5 you can roam around the game and acquire ingredients to bake in your interstellar Easy Bake Oven. You can however make that process much easier by following a couple quick steps.
Every year it is possible to upgrade your Holiday Oven to the masterwork edition and it’s as simple as discovering every single recipe currently available. You can see the recipe list here including instructions on where to find every individual ingredient. The most arduous part of the process involves hunting down Essence of Dawning. You’ll need 15 essence for every cookie you make, and that means grinding activities.
By completing every recipe you unlock the masterwork version of the oven which lowers the cost to 10 essence per cookie which will drastically lower your workload. Your previously unlocked recipes are all still here this year, so returning players will only need to create the few new recipes to get back in gear.
