The idea of pre-ordering Doritos over the internet isn’t the strangest thing consumer thing I’ve participated in. After all it was only two years ago that Ubisoft, Mountain Dew, and WalMart teamed up to put out a Division 2 Game Fuel pack. The pack included drinks, a whistle, USB drive, and a screwdriver. The tool, not the drink.
If memory serves me correctly the hat fell apart after a few months, the USB drive broke, the screwdriver cracked under the smallest amount of pressure, and the whistle blew. Get it? The drinks were pretty tasty. This time around there is no gaming tie-in, but WalMart is offering up the new Doritos 3D Crunch snack for pre-order.
Yep. Make sure you get your pre-order in for the return of 3D Doritos. You never know when they’ll go off the market yet again. The chips are actually out at other stores so you might be able to go down to your local grocer and find them in stock. If you don’t feel like hitting the shops just for Doritos then ordering through Walmart might be the best option.
And you can get free shipping if your order exceeds $35 which means buying twelve bags of chips or maybe using this as an opportunity to buy some household goods you need. You never know what the toilet paper situation is going to look like at the end of January.
