EPOS launches new gaming earbuds.
This week marks the launch of EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid wireless earbuds. Earbuds for gamers! Now EPOS boasts that these earbuds deliver a “new standard with low-latency audio” with the source of said low latency being an accompanying USB-C dongle. With Bluetooth connectivity, the earbuds are compatible with virtually any Bluetooth device regardless of the dongle.
“The discreet, yet iconic design makes the GTW 270 Hybrid an excellent product for those who are looking for amazing wireless earbuds for mobile gaming with the best audio quality and no latency. Whether immersed in a gaming session at break time or catching a few rounds of their favourite game on their Switch or phone on a daily commute, the GTW 270 Hybrid delivers no-compromise sound excellence for the gamer on the go.” says Maja Sand-Grimnitz, Head of Global Marketing at EPOS.
The earbuds also claim up to five hours of battery life with a 90 minute charge time and an additional twenty hours from the carrying case. An IPX5 water resistance rating means these buds can hold up to sweat and light rain. The dongle is compatible with Switch and Android phones, with an included converter cable for PC and PlayStation consoles. Perfect for those of you who managed to get Captain Toad cheap.
As for price, the earbuds are going to run you $199 USD with the dongle and $169 without. Both will be available on the EPOS website.
