For money burned in a video game.
Eve Online’s playerbase continues to beat the literal money out of each other as the game sets two more world records in terms of players beating the money out of each other. This week CCP Games revealed the results of the Massacre at M2-XFE, a 14-hour long battle for control between some guys and some other guys.
The results of the battle broke records for most costly video game battle at $378,012 USD and for the most Titans lost in a single battle at 257. These records join the largest multiplayer video game pvp battle (8,825) and most concurrent participants in a video game pvp battle (6,557).
