Sony Brings Back Play At Home

Free Ratchet and Clank and Funimation access in March.

Last year Sony announced the Play At Home Initiative, a program earmarking $10 million to support independent partners as well as providing some free games to encourage people to stay home during the pandemic. It’s been nearly a year and Sony hasn’t said much about the initiative at all. Barely a peep even.

But the Play At Home Initiative is back and offering free entertainment to kick off in March and run through June. Starting March 1 gamers can redeem a copy of Ratchet & Clank, the 2016 video game adaptation of the 2016 film adaptation of the 2002 video game titled Ratchet & Clank. Redeem by March 31 and it is yours to keep. Starting March 25 users in specific countries can sign up for Funimation for some free anime.

While only these two freebies have been detailed, Sony states that a series of free entertainment is coming our way with more information in the coming weeks.
