Fortnite loves ominous countdown timers so much it might as well be a fetish at this point. Another countdown clock appeared in Fortnite this week, this one counting down to Friday August 6 at what appears to be six p.m. ET. It’s an interesting twist since normally these events happen at the end of the season and Fortnite season 7 doesn’t finish until September.
I’ve seen a few outlets talking about the rumored Ariana Grande concert, and that is possible. Epic announced the Travis Scott concert something like three days before the actual event. On the other hand it could be related to the entrance of the Justice League and Suicide Squad to the Fortnite island. Superman is scheduled to appear roughly a week after the event goes live.
August 6 is National Ariana Grande day. Who makes these holidays up?
