The Fortnite metaverse gets a little more meta this week with the drop of a new brand crossover. Now Epic Games owns both Fortnite and Fall Guys so the crossover isn’t that impressive when you think about it.
It is a little more than simple cosmetics though as the update introduces a Fall Guys obstacle course in the Fortnite world. You’ll be transformed into a bean for your stay so you won’t be able to shoot each other while in the course. Complete a series of simple tasks and you’ll get what everyone is there for anyway; the Fall Guys back bling.
Fall Guys also now exists within Fortnite, making us wonder when Epic will just absorb the former into the latter. You’ll be able to take on Fall Guys levels in Fortnite with Mediatonic’s custom levels.
