The patch is coming in November.
Final Fantasy XIV is getting ready for Patch 7.1 and by getting ready I mean for its mid-November release. The patch includes a new MSQ addition, new dungeon, new 24-player raid series, new trials, new raids, new quests, and all kinds of new stuff.
You can even get in on New Game+ for patch 7.0 with the ability to replay MSQ quests, job quests, and role quests with a higher difficulty. Check out the official website for more information.
