Grinding Gear Games has an apology to offer; the customer support team for Path of Exile has been on the receiving end of more tickets than they are useful. We’re talking 10 times the usual load. And since GGG customer support staff are not in fact cybermen capable of working 24/7, they’ve had a hard time keeping up.
The good news is that GGG is speaking rather candidly. Even better, they’ve responded to the short-staffing issue by hiring more staff. I wish my job would do that.
We really appreciate everyone’s patience while the Support Team has been working hard to get through the requests we receive and can assure you that we are bolstering the Support Staff member numbers to ensure more timely responses in the future.
The end result is a backlog of 545,000 email requests being whittled down to 75,000 and counting. If you are in the Henderson, New Zealand area and are looking for work, GGG is actually still hiring.
