I’m cross-posting my YouTube videos!
You know what makes sense? Cross-posting YouTube videos. It might even get me more traffic, since I am chronically allergic to actually promoting myself or make this website more visible to search engines.
Check out my review of Spilled, with key provided by developer Lente for this review. And underneath it is the script I read for the review.

Today’s one minute review is for Spilled, a cozy game releasing on Steam this week. For full and early disclosure I did receive a review copy from the developer. If you’ve seen my demo video, you’ll already know I was in love with this game. Spilled takes a simple premise and turns it into a charming, albeit rather short title. You play as a ship tasked with cleaning up oil spills and coraling junk into nearby recycling centers. As you remove dirt and debris from the water, the game rewards you with coins that can be used to buy upgrades and collect more garbage faster without having to come back to deposit as often. There’s also a handful of animals to go out and rescue.
As you progress the game gives you a couple more tools including a water sprayer and a mechanical winch to hoist barrels. All of this culminates in a boss fight against a big ship spilling its trash into the sea that you need to stop.
Spilled is a very charming game, I especially enjoyed watching the world slowly clean up and seeing animals returning to the water over time. The full game will take you roughly an hour to beat, assuming you don’t stop to appreciate the sights. While it is short, I think it will leave an impression on those who play it. Also it supports charity, but that’s really a cherry on top of it.
