There’s A Distinct Possibility John Smedley Has A New Game In Stealth Mode

The Smedster is back.

I have no confirmation that anyone in John Smedley’s life refers to him as The Smedster, but I’m going with that nickname. John “Smedster” Smedley is back on MMO gamers radars this week after posting a photo on Twitter of himself with former Planetside 2 staff Matt Higby and Tramell Isaac.

What’s the new game? Nobody knows. The crew however is currently working at a studio called Stealth Mode. The monitor behind them seems to be showing off a game that may or may not be called Distinct Possibility. You could say there’s a distinct possibility that this is the game’s title.

If you’re wondering where Smedley’s been for the last decade, he’s been working at Amazon since 2017 ultimately never shipping whatever unnamed game he was working on. This follows the development and cancellation before release of Hero’s Song.
