Surprise, Kritika Online Is Shutting Down Yet Again

Kritika: Zero to close down in August.

This must be a year ending in a number because MMO Fallout has to announce that Kritika is shutting down. Again. A game that is on track to die as many times as Kenny during the early seasons of South Park, Kritika: Zero is the latest incarnation of Kritika.

Zero launched in early 2024 and was hot garbage that I said would “die in a week and shut down in a year or two.” The mana consumption was terrible, the item drops were nonexistent, and it was truly astounding on how badly Valofe could screw up a Kritika relaunch.

Anyway, the game is dead again. Servers are going to shut down in August 2025 and the devs are so self-aware of the game’s rotating cast of what at this point can only be considered fraud that they end the announcement with “see you in the next version of Kritika.”

As posted on Discord:

With great regret, we announce that the operation of KRITIKA: ZERO will officially cease, and all game servers will be shut down on Thursday, August 7, 2025. This decision is also a difficult one for our team. Here, we would like to extend our deepest apologies to all players who love KRITIKA: ZERO

Sales of in-game items cease on July 3. Those of you looking for a refund can always just file a chargeback with your credit card.

As a side note, in case you’re wondering if the NFT scam version of Kritika is still running, it is. Kinda. Kritika Global is also being so incompetently handled by Com2us that the servers are down for maintenance mode for a full calendar month.

Global went into maintenance mode back in 2023.
