Aetna sues in California court.
What are the ashes of creation? Evidently they don’t involve completely paying your insurance bills. This week’s news is around Intrepid Studios, the developers behind the upcoming MMORPG Ashes of Creation.
Intrepid Studios is currently the defendant in a lawsuit by Aetna Life Insurance & Aetna Health Insurance in San Diego county court. I don’t have access to the full docket, but from the few pages I’ve been able to pull up the lawsuit is demanding $81 thousand USD. In short, Intrepid Studios is being accused of just not paying their bills, those bills having piled up over the course of the last few years.
