Metro Becomes Top Seller On Steam As Epic Exclusivity Ends

Metro Exodus is selling gangbusters on Steam.

Last year developer 4AGames and publisher Deep Silver got into some controversy following the announcement that Metro Exodus had signed a one year exclusivity deal with Epic to put the game on the Epic Game Store. 4A Games didn’t dampen the controversy at all when one employee threatened that future Metro games would not come out on PC if players boycotted the game over the exclusivity.

Well it looks like plenty of people were willing to wait out the year because Metro Exodus hit Steam storefronts on February 14 and has jettisoned to #2 and #3 on the top selling list behind Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem.

The Metro Exodus game is currently available at a 40% discount to $23.99 USD. If you’re really behind on the series, the Metro Franchise Bundle is discounted 52% down to $50.07 USD and includes the Redux versions of Metro 2033 and Last Light, as well as Metro Exodus and the expansion pass.
