Its first console game.
Netmarble is starting to publish on the Switch. Seven Knights – Time Wanderer is a real time and turn based RPG currently available on mobile, and soon it will be coming to the latest Nintendo console. As a single player RPG, Seven Knights will not only feature new control and battle systems, but a whole new original story different from the mobile version.
“Since Seven Knights’ 2014 Korean launch, it’s been quite humbling and exciting to see the game grow in global popularity. We could not be more thrilled that Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – will be Netmarble’s first Nintendo game,” said Young Jae Park, Executive Producer of Netmarble. “The team can’t wait to share what makes Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – so special to a new audience, so we will work closely with Nintendo to ensure our first console game is exciting for Nintendo Switch gamers to play with.”
There is good news for those who saw “mobile port” and might be afraid of the monetization. According to Netmarble, the Switch version of Seven Knights is doing away with the gacha mechanics of the mobile game completely. You will instead acquire characters while making progress through the story.
