NM: The Outer Worlds Heads To Switch June 5

Get that Obsidian in your hands.

The Outer Worlds is one of my favorite games of 2019, and in 2020 a whole new crowd of folks are going to get access to it. Previously available for the Playstation, Xbox, and PC, Obsidian has seen fit this week to announce that the title is being ported to Nintendo Switch for a June 5 release.

Retailing for $60, the good news is that The Outer Worlds will be available in both physical and digital flavors. The bad news is that the physical version will be accompanied by a day one patch that is “up to” six gigabytes, the final size of which has apparently not been finalized at this moment.

The patch optimizes gameplay, provides hi-rez textures, and includes other fixes.
