Steam Cleaned: Fullout – New Nevada Is Dad’s Famous Fallout Recipe

How did you replicate that artificial bologna flavor?

Every once in a while I see a game on Steam that I just need to share, and today’s game is basically the epitome of “we have Fallout at home” (thank you SirViolentDeath for making that joke first). Fullout – New Nevada is in development by Indie Access Games and published by Harshstate Players. Now you may not recognize either name, and that’s because neither entity has done anything before.

They haven’t done anything now, but that’s another story.

Fullout – New Nevada is a title I’ve had to try my damndest not to call Fullout New Vegas, and I am 50% sure that this title is going to get slapped off of Steam at some point between now and its estimated September Early Access launch date. After all Bethesda went after a game called Scrolls. But who knows, this website has the word Fallout in the title and I have never been sued. So far.

Fullout is described as:

You are a survivor of a post nuclear holocaust. You are left in a desert pitted against both man and elements to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger and thirst. Gather weapons and ammo. Set up a base aggressively taken from your enemies. Kill enemies for their guns. Protect yourself from harsh environments and deadly soldiers.

On the plus side, this game looks just generic enough that even if Bethesda doesn’t go ham with their overzealous lawyers, it is guaranteed to be buried in the depths of Steam’s shovelware. Hell if it wasn’t for the title, I wouldn’t have even cared to give this game a second look even if it was just to laugh at it.

Check out Fullout – New Nevada on Steam. Try to contain yourself for the next five months.
