Steam’s next minor sale event is set to begin tomorrow, so get those wallets out and show us what they can do. The existence and timing of the Golden Week Sale is hardly a surprise as it coincides with various holidays converging together but it’s good to see a concrete start and end date. The above promotional banner was picked up via the Golden Week sale Steam app.
For those out of the loop the Steam Golden Week sale mostly focuses on celebrating titles made in Japan. Last year saw big discounts on games like Resident Evil, NieR, Dark Souls, Disgaea, and more. This year should be much of the same.
Gamers on Playstation can already get their hands on some deals in the Big In Japan Sale currently ongoing until May 7. Steam users meanwhile will need to wait until 10 a.m. PST on April 30 to bathe in the savings. Might want to get those wishlists started now.
