Fallout 76 Doesn’t Have The Guts For A Successful Meat Event

Ya ain’t got the chops, copper!

Fallout 76 is having a problem; it has a drastic shortage of guts, specifically intestines and more specifically animal intestines. This week marked the launch of the Fasnacht Parade, an in-game event where players assist robots in putting on a successful Fasnacht parade. You get it.

The event was meant to come back this week but ran into an unforeseen problem; normally players need to donate intestines from animals to the Butcher’s Cooler as part of the collection activities. These intestines come from small critters. What Bethesda did not realize was that critters are no longer spawning in the same numbers they used to pre-Wastelanders.

Not enough to complete the event, causing most to fail. Bethesda posted a notice on the official Reddit earlier today.

Shortly after we enabled Fasnacht Parade yesterday, we began receiving reports that critters were not spawning correctly during certain objectives, which would cause the event to fail. We’ve implemented a fix for this issue internally, and we are actively testing the event right now to ensure critters are spawning normally. Once we’ve verified Fasnacht is working correctly, we plan to re-enable it as soon as possible, and we are currently targeting 10:00 a.m. ET tomorrow, May 27.

To compensate, the Fasnacht event will be extended through Tuesday June 9 with a bundle available for free on the Atomic Shop starting next Tuesday. The contents of the bundle will be noted later this week.
