So don’t buy it again on Steam.
Those of you in Argentina who picked up Fall Guys from the official website might be waking up this morning to find that your copy has been revoked and a refund in your email. The bad news is that a batch of fraudulent keys were revoked with some legitimate users being caught in the crossfire. Xsolla’s customer support is providing the following explanation:
The key you received, belongs to a batch exploited by scammers looking to turn a quick profit. As a result, we have disabled all keys in the batch and have issued refunds to all affected customers.
The good news is that those customers are being taken care of and should keep an eye on their inbox. I spoke to Devolver Digital this morning and was told that affected users have been sent emails and will be provided with free codes so that they don’t have to repurchase Fall Guys in addition to their original purchase being refunded.
That’s good news because Fall Guys doubled its price in Argentina earlier this month.
