Banned a lot of games today.
Valve appears to have once again awoken and wiped out a developer and potentially their alt accounts. Most of today’s bans revolve around a shovelware developer called WTF Games that appears to be linked to two other devs; Lust & Desire and Puzzlemaniac.
Over 40 games were purged in today’s wave.
Developer: WTF Games

Developer WTF Games specializes in low tier shovelware asset flips. WTF Games appears to be repackaging the same shoddy shooter game but inserting different asset packs and calling it a new game. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say the Romines of Digital Homicide was providing consulting for WTF Games. Because they are also hack frauds.

Every single one of WTF Games titles is an asset flip of the same game with the same UI. More than one game appears to have some suspicious reviews, suggesting that they may be fraudulent which would point to Valve terminating the developer.
Their dance games clearly use stolen assets from other titles, and are built on a stolen copy of a Miku Miku Dance clone, which is likely a big reason for their ban.

Developer: EpiXR Games

EpiXR Games appears to have been running fraudulent reviews as a number of their games have perfect 100% ratings.

Red Virus

Red Virus is a protest game by a publisher named #TaiwanNo1, and if I had to guess I would expect that it’s been flagged as a troll game. Something about this screenshot just makes me wonder.
Developer: Puzzlemaniac

Puzzlemaniac used to host jigsaw puzzle games of kitties. And also jigsaw puzzle games showing kitties of a more NSFW variety. Puzzlemaniac is one of those developers that throws large numbers of hentai puzzle games on the store for Steam’s large population of horny, lonely, thirsty Joes.
Given that some of the photos feature real women which would go against Valve’s content policy I’m willing to bet that’s part of the reason for Puzzlemaniac’s ban. Also considering most of these games use stolen art assets that’s probably the other half of it.

Developer: Lust & Desire

This is one of the few screenshots I can safely post here. This is a lootbox game where the prize is just (probably stolen) jpegs of anime girls in various states of undress. The developer appeared to be in a back and forth battle as to whether or not the game should be flagged as adult content. Spoiler; it should be.
The sad part about this list is that I’ve seen enough of these stolen asset puzzle games that I’m starting to recognize the pictures. Lust & Desire also might be an alt account of Puzzlemaniac as both developers appear to be releasing the exact same games under different titles and with varying stolen assets.
