Grounded Update Gives Players The Bird

Get it? It’s a bird.

Obsidian Entertainment is giving its first big update for Grounded on Xbox Preview, and it includes a new way to enhance your character, decorations for your base, new armor, new quest types, and a new visitor. A bird!

Exploring the backyard can now unlock perks, small mutations that allow your character to do things like cut grass faster, increase health, and more. You can have up to three mutations equipped at any time. Builders will have access to new fences and tables, and players can now make beds.

Beds require a new ingredient that can only be found on the latest arrival to the backyard; the bird. You can craft a sporty new marksman cap from the bird feathers. The update is available on both Xbox and PC. Grounded is currently free for Game Pass users.
