Bungie CEO Pete Parsons came out on Twitter to vehemently deny rumors of an attempted Microsoft acquisition. The Games Beat podcast this week dedicated some time to Jeff Grub reporting on a rumor that Microsoft had been in talks on more than one occasion to purchase Bungie but that the deal had fallen through multiple times due to Bungie’s high valued price.
Parsons spoke up on Twitter to flat out deny the rumor.

The comment in the podcast is just a throwaway line that got pulled by a user on Twitter and responded to by Pete Parsons himself.
