Vegas Pro 18 has returned to Steam following its removal earlier this month. Those of you who keep track of our Steam news know that the editing software Vegas Pro 18 launched on Steam on September 3 and within twenty four hours after launch had been retired from the store. Why? Because something went haywire and listed the $400 piece of software in Argentina for slightly less than that amount.
Roughly 18 cents USD in fact.
People piled on to buy the software at its lower price from areas within and outside of Argentina, and it quickly became a problem. The title was retired from sale with the keys disabled and customers automatically refunded. Vegas Pro 18 has remained available for purchase from its official store in the meantime.
But the title is back with a 35% discount and includes a free add-on of Sound Forge Music Studio 14. Valve has marked the reviews related to the pricing mistake as off-topic meaning Vegas Pro 18 now has a 91% approval rating, as well as the following notice:
