It isn’t often that a game comes around and is basically universally loved by everyone including those of you reading this and crossing your arms saying “I didn’t like it” in defiance. Hades is the latest title from developer Supergiant Games, the names behind the famous title Bastion not to mention Transistor and Pyre. Hades is a rogue-like dungeon crawler (go figure) and its release has set the internet on fire.
Like being in hell.
So many people love Hades in fact that the game has found its way into the list of the top 10 top rated Steam games. It just beats out Euro Truck Simulator 2 which held the top slot previously and comes in over titles like Mount & Blade: Warband and Slay the Spire.
There are roughly 766 titles that hold at least a 90% approval rating on Steam, of which only 50 surpass the 95% mark. Valve titles make up three of the top ten and three titles were released in 2020 (Hades, Factorio, Half Life: Alyx)
