Uplay+ Is Now Ubisoft+, Luna/Stadia Support

Coming in 2021.

Ubisoft has announced that it is rebranding Uplay+ and rolling it out to new services in the coming months. It will now be called Ubisoft+ presumably to reflect the broadened platforms and while the $15 monthly fee will remain unchanged, the service itself is going to become far more valuable.

Beginning in November Ubisoft+ members will be able to play a number of games over streaming over the Luna early access test. Later on the service is set to come to Stadia, with both Luna and Stadia being accessible for no additional cost. The Uplay+ brand is being retired as Ubisoft is changing the name of its PC client to Ubisoft Connect.

One positive side effect is that Ubisoft’s loyalty rewards program is being overhauled with many older rewards being made free. Ubisoft+ grants access to a huge library of Ubisoft games and generally includes the most premium versions of those games for $14.99 per month. By completing challenges in games players can obtain loyalty points that can be spent on rewards like avatars and exclusive cosmetics.
