To be less trademark infringing.
Today’s Steam article is an update to a previous story. Nearly a month ago we talked about developer DreamTeamGames, and particularly that the company was putting out a clone of Among Us with a seemingly trademark-infringing title. The title? Killer Among Us 3D.
Well it looks like someone either had the same realization that we did, or they received a letter from a displeased Innersloth because the game has changed its title ahead of launch. Now known as Killer: Infected One of Us, the folks at DreamTeamGames even appear to have taken my advice on the poor English and brushed that up.
Not entirely, but quite a bit. It’s like they got someone who knew the language.
Players are divided into 2 roles:
•Infected – whose main goal is to infect everyone else, to deny being infection and blend in with other members of the expedition.
•Healthy – find the infected person and cure him/her with an antidote and prove that you are healthy to others, and also to survive it is necessary to maintain the station in staff state.
Killer: Infected One of Us comes out sometime in November.
