Steam: Five Games Everyone Wants 11/29 Edition

Five games everyone wants this week.

It’s time for another week of pulling out that wallet and digging deep to buy some games. There are hundreds of titles coming out on Steam this week, but we’ve curated a list of games that many people are already interested in buying to let you know who the winners are probably going to be.

Or not, XIII Remastered was one of the most anticipated games of its week and that hit the ground and broke both legs on impact. This list spans releases up until Sunday December 6.

1. Empire of Sin – Romero Games

Empire of Sin tastes like someone mixed Mafia with XCOM and the final product is looking to be pretty freaking cool. Empire of Sin is set in the 1920’s prohibition era, a turn-based strategy game that puts you in a world of real and fictional crime bosses like Al Capone, Stephanie St. Clair, and Goldie Garneau.

Romero Games was founded by John Romero. The Doom guy, not the zombie guy. Empire of Sin releases December 1 for $39.99. It also comes out on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

2. Haven – The Game Bakers

Play two characters at the same time while building their relationship and scavenging parts to repair your ship on a dangerous uncharted planet. Fight as both characters in real time, and even play in co-op if you have a special someone who wants to join in. Haven releases December 3.

3. Per Aspera – Tlön Industries

What would a release list be without a city building game? Per Aspera turns the genre on its head by tasking players with building cities on Mars and terraforming the landscape. There also appears to be an element of mystery involving a prior expedition to Mars and uncovering why it failed.

Per Aspera launches December 3.

4. Creeper World 4 – Knuckle Cracker

Creeper World 4 is a real time strategy game where players are fighting back against a fluid trying to destroy the planet. It sounds strange. It is strange. There’s a fair number of people looking forward to its release on Steam this week.

Creeper World 4 launches on December 3. There is a demo available for those who want to check it out. See if you can make heads or tails of this game.

5. Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition – Square Enix

All rights reserved Square Enix. Outside of the ridiculous title, Dragon Quest XI probably doesn’t need much introduction. You might not be aware that the PC port is coming out this week, however. This version includes the same upgrades as the predecessor including additional scenarios, a new soundtrack, 2D classic mode, and more.

There is also a massive demo on the store that will transfer to the full game.
