Galactus Destroys Heli-Carrier, Eats Battle Buses For Lunch


The latest Fortnite event was strange.

This may come as a shock to my readers but I’m a bit of a fan of Fortnite.

Once the timer hit zero on the event Galactus finally emerged from over the horizon and with a swing of his big meaty hand destroyed the heli-carrier and threw everyone on it out of the map. Thankfully Tony Stark was around to give everyone a jetpack and whisk them to their own battle bus to carry out the next phase.

With the help of Thor and Wolverine players drove millions of battle buses through Star Fox style on-rails shooter sequences ultimately piloting them into the gaping maw of Galactus to deliver the explosive gamma bombs stored on board. I assume Galactus wasn’t killed, but he has been dealt with for the time being.

Finally the event ended with a black screen and a “to be continued” counting down to midnight tonight EST. That will be when the servers go offline for maintenance with servers coming back up at 4a.m. and season 5 starting up.

For those who missed the event, you certainly didn’t lose out on anything as great as the Travis Scott concert which may or may not ever be superceded in a Fortnite event.
