Five Games Everyone Wants: 1/17 Edition

A look ahead at the week of video game launches.

It’s well known that when I publish the list of five video games that everyone wants, that I speak deliberately and literally about everyone. 100% of the population regardless of demographic, including the animal population. Every single person. Your mom, the dog, that bird that sits outside your window and chirps in the morning. Every single one without fail.

Hitman 3 – January 20

You’d need to go back a little ways to find the origin of Hitman 3’s controversies. The game is releasing as a one year Epic exclusive, the folks at IO Interactive announced that you would need to rebuy the prior two games to load their content in, but then there were some concessions, and now there seems to be more concessions but the details are a little hazy at the moment.

Hitman 3 is coming out on January 20 for Epic Games Store as well as your standard console fare plus Stadia and Switch.
