Fight over account loses Google Stadia a Terraria release.
A Google Stadia release of Terraria has been cancelled after Google arbitrarily locked co-creator Andrew Spinks out of his Google account and refused any attempt at appeals. Spinks posted on Twitter of the now three week lockout preventing access to thousands of dollars of purchases, his YouTube channel, and email. Google so far refused to take action or even provide an explanation on why the account was disabled.
Unable to obtain any redress from Google, Spinks announced that the port of Terraria has been cancelled and his company will no longer support Google due to the liability involved.
I absolutely have not done anything to violate your terms of service, so I can take this no other way than you deciding to burn this bridge. Consider it burned. #Terraria for @GoogleStadia is canceled. My company will no longer support any of your platforms moving forward.

Google has already had a difficult year in 2021 over the closure of their first party development studios. As the world seems to acknowledge Stadia as a dying platform the last thing Google needs is to burn bridges with business partners.
MMO Fallout reached out to Google for comment and delayed this article to give them time to respond. They did not respond. We will update if we get a comment.
