No not that Hawkeye.
Marvel’s Avengers is in a bit of a pickle. On one hand the ongoing work from home situation has not proven itself helpful to productivity over at Crystal Dynamics. On the other hand the game came out in a rather sorry state resulting in CD having to do a lot of fixing before they moved on to their already beleaguered work schedule pumping out new content and heroes. As a result what customers got was a live service game that doesn’t feel very live and really doesn’t provide much of a service.
In the five months since Avengers launched we’ve seen one new hero added; Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye and for what it’s worth her content is pretty good. The unfortunate side of this ordeal is that the next character is Clint Barton, aka Other Hawkeye.
This week Crystal Dynamics is hosting another War Table revolving around Clint Barton Hawkeye. The stream runs on February 16 and should hopefully contain more information on the whens, wheres, and hows of Hawkeye’s release. You can check it out on the Avengers YouTube channel.
