Charity. It’s something we talk about fairly regularly here at MMO Fallout. But what about a game whose entire existence is devoted to charity? Devolver Digital has the questions and the answers.
The subject of today’s piece is Minit Fun Racer, a neat little endless runner that appeared on Steam today. Developed by JW, Kitty, Jukio, and Dom. You may recognize some of those names from hit games like Nuclear Throne and Heavy Bullets. Minit Fun Racer is a bit different in that 100% of developer and publisher proceeds are going to charity.
Except for Valve’s 30% cut which gets donated directly into Valve’s pockets. The charity will change from time to time with current proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders. Three purchase prices act effectively as donation tiers.
