Worms Rumble is the definitely-not-free-to-play battle royale spinoff of the world famous Worms series. The Worms franchise has been with us since 1995. Latest title Worms Rumble hasn’t been doing so well in terms of players. According to SteamDB Worms Rumble struggled to reach triple digits in 2021 so far. To counteract the low population and hopefully bring in a few new players the folks at Team17 Digital announced a free weekend.
That’s this weekend. Starting today, February 18 at 6 p.m. GMT and running through the same time on Monday February 22. That’s about two hours from when this is published.
Still not dived in? You can check out Worms Rumble on Steam for free this weekend! Running from 6PM GMT on Thursday 18th – 6PM GMT Monday 22nd February, you’ll have full access to the main game completely free of charge!
Check the store page, it’s probably up. We noted back in January that Worms already lost over 70% of its traffic.
