Fortnite’s latest cosmetic pack is here and it is a doozy. The pack costs $11.99 and cannot be bought with V-Bucks, but there is a good reason to buy it. Foremost the pack gives Marigold who looks a lot like a more feminine Midas. You also get the Golden Gambit back bling and Golden Daggers harvesting tool.
Marigold also offers a challenge pack that grants up to 1,500 V-Bucks by getting through each tier of challenge. 1,500 V-Bucks translates to $12 USD, making your $12 more of a deposit returned in Fortnite currency plus some extra skins.
Challenges amount to completing a set number of uncommon quests and above, so you don’t have to do anything special to complete it. A total of 30 quests is needed to get through all five tiers of the mission and unlike the seasonal quests this is not time-gated. So no pressure to complete it immediately.
Marigold’s cosmetic also unlocked a reactive version covered in gold.
