The next gen upgrades for Marvel’s Avengers on PS5 and Series S/X are here. Well they will be in about a week. Crystal Dynamics today posted infographics for both consoles detailing exactly what players can expect with the next generation systems. In short the game will look better and run faster, and if you play on the PS5 it will take advantage of the new controller features like haptic feedback.
That haptic feedback is wild, man. Players will have the option of using either backwards compatibility mode or native next-gen versions, although we’re not sure why you would want to keep the backwards compatible modes on. The upgrade is free and available to everyone, provided you don’t own a disc copy and upgrade to Xbox Series S. Both console lines offer cross-gen play, but not cross-platform.
