They are still hiring folks, folks.
Jagex, developer of the hit indie game RuneScape, this week announced yet another slate of new hires to the company. It’s something we hear about every so often. Walk around the Cambridge campus and you’ll likely bump into Chris Pfeiffer, new director of project management. With 20 years in the industry, Pfeiffer’s job will be to drive long term player retention on new titles.
Also joining the party is Tom Hopper as senior producer for third-party games, Stuart Bottell as platform partnerships lead to prop up Jagex’s new publishing division, and Robert Fox-Galassi as lead product manager.
Phil Mansell, Jagex CEO:
“2021 is proving to be yet another important year for us in terms of recruiting, with new additions to the Jagex Partners’ third-party publishing team just one part of a concerted effort to build capabilities across the company. These new hires will play a crucial role in Jagex’s further growth by accelerating the development of new and existing games for wider global audiences.”
Jagex is currently hiring for multiple unannounced games.
