New World is Amazon’s latest attempt to create a successful MMO. Will it work? We’ll have to see. But you can see starting today as New World enters its closed beta. The beta goes live at 12:30 p.m. ET (approximately 90 minutes from this being published) and runs until August 3 at 3 a.m. ET. Servers will be available in North America, Europe, Australia, and Brazil.
If you pre-ordered via Steam, you already have a client in your library called “New World Closed Beta.” Download that. Everyone who orders through Amazon will receive a key for the closed beta. Alternately you can sign up through the testing program for a chance to receive a beta key.
