WoW Players Protest Activision Abuses

Many are cancelling their subscriptions and riding out the time.

We’re just a day or so out of Activision officially being sued by the California state government for violations of civil rights and a “frat boy” work culture that allegedly proved itself to be very hostile and dangerous toward female employees who were subjected to constant sexual harassment, according to the lawsuit.

So players in World of Warcraft are showing their anger by having a good old fashioned sit-in. Players are congregating in the social hub of Oribos and simultaneously running a charity campaign for Black Girls Code. The charity endeavor has already hit over $7,700 USD as of this publishing of a goal of $100.
