Want to get your game on Epic Games Store? It’s about to get easier. Epic Games today announced an upcoming beta test for self-publishing tools, allowing more developers to get on the store faster. While all developers and publishers are eligible for the program when it fully launches, the closed beta will be selected on a case by case basis.
Our goal with the Closed Beta test is to stress test the toolset and improve it with developers’ feedback while increasing the number of games and apps on the Epic Games Store. This is the first step towards opening up the store so all developers can submit products.
The page notes that games including hateful and discriminatory content, pornography, illegal content, etc, is not allowed and that they may take action to remove games that violate these policies.
