Operation Sky Fire hits September 12.
Fortnite’s season 7 is ending soon. How soon? This month. How this month? September 12. Epic has finally announced the season finale event as Operation: Sky Fire. The event kicks off at 4p.m. ET on September 12, with the usual advisory that players join in at least 30 minutes prior to the event launch when the queue opens. Previous live events have reached capacity within a minute or two of the queue going up.
The Operation: Sky Fire event playlist will be available 30 minutes prior to start for players to jump in and reserve their spot in the mission. Be sure to log in early and standby for go time. You can join the event with a full lobby of 16 friends, so bring the whole squad and more to help you tackle Slone’s secret mission.
Players should note the following bits and pieces for the event:
- Replays will not be available, so if you’re planning on recording do it live.
- Bargain Bin Wild Week starts September 9 and offers bonus experience for offloading your gold bars.
- All unclaimed battle stars and alien DNA will be automatically redeemed at the end of the season for available rewards. Complete any remaining quests before the event begins.
- Superman’s quests also expire at 4p.m. on September 12.
- Quests outside of the battle pass will carry over.
